The V1.3 Have ddr3 ram and the V2.1 have ddr3L Ram
Is ist possible that the 1.3 is undervolted

And have you your own uboot and kernel config
I have build one from Openelec git and i saw there are different

but my 1.3 not, it Freezes after boot before the wizard starts

So I assume this image should works on v1.3 also.

I was mistaken - have v1.2 and it works here also.

About u-boot: I switched to mainline u-boot for Matrix and Udoo because I also add support for SPL for Udoo (one image for both devices). Kernel config is official only few extra touchscreens enabled.
But u-boot with openelec is working too.

Build progress you see on a screen. And you can see some configure logs in build folder of packages.

Hello vpeter, babboy
I have the same problem with the freezing on my Matrix v1.3. Openelec starts without problem but after cca 20sec it stops.
I tray Openelec from SD, eMMC but always same problem. Last correct version what works is "OpenELEC-TBS.arm-devel-20140807170606-r18774-g2c40356".
This version has kernel 3.0.36 and last version OpenElec 6.0.0 has 3.14.36, could it be a problem with kernel? Do you have any solusion?
Thank you

Yes, I will make v6.0.1 with newer kernel 3.14.54. I'm also looking the kernel from Xbian 4.3.x.

But maybe there is an issue with bootloader. Will make few test images.
