How to play Matrix with TBS Tuners.

Hi All

If you want to play TBS tuners with Matrix you need to burn a new system
named MatrixTV which is a customize linux system added TBS tuner and XBMC/VDR support.

Here will show some picture how to use with MatrixTV system.

First Power on Matrix You will get the splash picture like this:

power on


Press any key to enter the setup dialog otherwise it will enter XBMC after 3 seconds
The main setting dialog:

Click Update Satellite Transponders,If your network is ok ,it will auto update satellite list to the latest:

Then Setup your Diseqc,below picture shows success detect TBS5980
Enter Diseqc Dialog

Shows success detected TBS5980

Select the Diseqc you are using:

8888.jpg

9999.jpg

10.jpg


After config the Diseqc, return to the main dialog
click Auto scan channels then it will auto scan the channels for VDR like this:

After scan all channels. Then you can start watch TV with XBMC.
Return to the main dialog click start XBMC with VDR.
Then you will see the XBMC's main dialog.

Click Live TV then you can see the channels you scaned like this:

Ok you can enjoy with MatrixTV now. :)

Hi,
yes work , but only FTA channels now , with scrambled channels system only buffering and stay always on 0%, i think problem with dvbapi :D

MatrixTV 1.0.0.2 (PCB1.3) not scan channels with TBS5925 tuner.

I can successfully scan channels and they appear in XBMC. All the FTA channels sit at 0% buffering when I try to view them. I'm using a TBS 5922 tuner
