Official, Kodi-based matrixtv

Will there be an official matrixtv release based on Kodi?
I'm asking because I bought a mini PC with a TBS DVB-C/T card and would love to use the latter for live TV within Kodi. As far as I understand it, the OpenELEC builds for the mini PC doesn't support TBS' tuner cards, right? It would be a shame if I would be able to use the tuner in the future.

Yes, there will be official build one day.
And those builds will support only cards which are supported in kernel. Only unofficial builds will support more.

Thank you for your reply! Is there a way to use my TBS5881 DVB-C/T2 card with OpenElec yet?
