Hello,

After three day on ubuntu 12.04, i will reinstall xbmc or android

- No way to install french langage (its a bug on ubuntu since many version)
- Error with cifs mount in /etc/fstab (see my other post)
- Vlc crash on mkv
- No .srt subtitle on totem player
- Smplayer very-very.... slow (1frame /s)
- No way to install xbmc (error in package link), i did not try install with sources

Why using ubuntu (slower and full of bug) ?
Achlinux, debian, why not ?

I don't want to take 2 or 3 hours every evening, after my work, to debug this ...

Sorry for reaction, but i only want to sit on my sofa and use it !

I don't understand people who buys devices like Matrix/udoo, wandboard, ... and expects perfect mediacenter from it. Buy dedicated device for movie playing.

but i have 1 linux server on debian, and a laptop on debian solydx, a rawsperry since 3 years whitout problem on raspbian...

I'm just reading on an another post that 3d-card is not enable on 12.04 only in 11.1 version

No way to boot with the 11.1 version

On the fist boot it freeze after 20 sec
On the 2d boot, white line had covered all the screen
On the 3rd black screen

I'm back with xmbc on it and after an another freeze it seems work.
