Here is a liSt of additional packages for the matrixtv linux versions.

hdparm_9.42-1_armv7.opk harddisk/dvd config tool
htop_1.0.1-1_armv7.opk color process monitor
mc_4.8.1.6-1_armv7.opk midnight commander file shell


Installation:
copy to your matrix and install using ssh (putty):
opkg install package_name_version.opk
