Last time I posted an issue on Github, l3iggs told me he was moving to some other place and his stuff was in a box container somewhere in the middle of the ocean.

It might be a while before l3iggs is actually available to help you out :P

I wasn't even able to push the u-boot into ram while in burn mode.

What you get with printenv command on new u-boot running in ram?

I'm not sure the last post was meant for me as this was posted more than 3 months ago.

I revisited this issue and found out that l3iggs uboot version was not loading properly.

Tried with a recent U-Boot version and voila. Works every time.
Matrix U-Boot> version

U-Boot 2015.04-rc1-19966-ge72d344 (Feb 16 2015 - 23:27:14)
arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.7.3-12ubuntu1) 4.7.3
GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Ubuntu) 2.24
