I did copy it to the consol and received:

Try this:
cd /storage/plex/Application
./start.sh

or
cd ~/plex/Application
./start.sh

I don't know in which directory you unpacked the Server, normally it should be in /storage/plex/Aplication.

It's /root/plex/Application. But as you can see it just doesn't find Plex Media Server. I have no idea why not. I tested on OpenELEC and there it works. Why doesn't work on MatrixTV...

when i tried to start with ./Plex Media Server i have the same issue, ./start.sh is working, but i get errors and the Server doesn't start on the openelec build from 14.09.

I think there is something wrong with your install, delete the Plex Directory and start over. Maybe it works if you don't install in /root. Try /opt.
I can't test it myself cause i try to install Debian on my box, so Openelec is deleted now.

Try this way:

cd /tmp
mkdir plex
cd plex
wget http://downloads.plexapp.com/plex-media ... 2/plex.tgz
tar -zxvf plex.tgz
mkdir -p /opt/plex/
mv Application/ /opt/plex
cd /opt/plex/Application
./start.sh

I added the download manually into the plex folder because the ssh download wasn't working. However, stil this message:

Actually it doesn't start. But at least it tries. I got

./Plex Media Server: error while loading shared libraries: /storage/plex/Application/libxml2.so.2: internal error

My install procedure (install path doesn't matter):

I tried it with your install procedure as well. Still the same:

I guess it's just not working or could it be, that there is something wrong in the coding of the start.sh file?
