DVB-C usb stick no frontend was attached
Posted: Mon Oct 14, 2013 11:24 pm
Hello, I have a problem with DVB-C usb stick.
First of all after following instructions I got nothing. Then I discovered that this is because according to lsusb I have:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 734c:dc01 TBS Technologies China, whic does not supported by tbsdvbc.c, so I modified it to allow also dc01 device id for this driver.
After reboot I have more progress, it is found device in cold state, loads firmware, etc. But lsusb now reports that I have 734c:dc02 device.
Totally picture looks fine, except "no frontend was attached"
Do you have any suggestions what need to be fixed?
I am using:
Ubuntu Server 13.04
Linux www 3.8.0-31-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 10 20:03:44 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
