TBS DVB-C USB stick linux

I was having some difficulties installing the DVB-C USB stick drivers. I have Ubuntu 14.04 and I managed to get it to work but the included instructions were not so clear. Therefore I now actually do not know what did the trick. Is there any good tutorial or something available which covers the installation?
