Sounds more like a ui issue if they show up in dmesg. I have 18 tuners in my Linux box no problem ;)

Did you manage to try it?

Moreover, where did you find the PCIe splitter? I'm curious if I can do the same with mine (already hosting a 4xDVB-T receiver).

Not yet, unfortunately. As for splitter ( http://www.microsatacables.com/pci-e-ex ... h-usb-3-0/ ) it works fine on PC with 4 TBS6904 (16 total transponders), I was just curious, if I could manage the same with cheaper MOI+.

Well, I installed 1 6984 and one 6991SE, which should show 6 adapters total, and here we are:

Code: Select All Code
[root@moi /]# dmesg|grep dvb

I think, that ls -la /dev/dvb?.* showing 8 of them is due to the fact, that I modified /etc/mdev.conf according to xiaocao's advice.
I made symlinks manually (don't know if they will survive reboot) but dvblast seems to fail to open adapters 4 and 5:

Code: Select All Code
DVBlast 2.2 (release)
warning: restarting
debug: using linux-dvb API version 5
error: opening device /dev/dvb/adapter4/frontend0 failed (No such device or address)
