DVB-C, DVB-T kernel rename

Postby wirek » Wed Dec 17, 2014 2:00 am

steven,

In the update readme file it is written:

uImage-m is the kernel need to be updated.
uImage_dvbc-m is DVB-C kernel you can rename to uImage-m to update
uImage_dvbt-m is DVB-T kernel you can rename to uImage-m to update

When the kernel rename is to be used? If somebody uses >only< DVB-C or >only< DVB-T?
Without rename the full kernel is loaded with DVB-S, DVB-C and DVB-T?

Hi wirek

The default kernel is DVBS + DVBT ,if the user want to use DVBC need to rename
uImage_dvbt-m to uImage-m to update. :)

Thanks

Hi steven,

Thank you for your reply. I understand that default kernel is DVB-S+DVB-T+DVB-C and if the user wants only DVB-T or DVB-C the corresponding image has to be renamed. This could be written in the Readme file.
