Update moi pro

Ok, this is what I think is happening.

The 1.0.0.8 version provided is specific to "PC way" as referred to in this forum, and "OTG" upgrade as referred to in the upgrade manual.
That is probably the reason why the upgrade stalls at 9% when upgrading through WEB (Should complain that it's the wrong software package).

As per doing upgrade via the OTG port (PC way) one needs to have an USB OTG cable which differs (but looks the same) to the standard USB cables. The pin layout in the cable has a tweak so it is possible to do a DYI. Trying to get hold of an USB OTG cable is a little more difficult as well. Locally for me only USB OTG cables with micro-usb is available, not with mini-usb as required.

As per this, I cannot upgrade it as I cannot easily get the right cable (which should be provided when buying the MOI PRO).

Please confirm (or object) to what I think I have figured out as per above.
Also, please provide a web or usb-stick update package of 1.0.0.8 (should be a quick fix, right?)

pc update requires physical access and a special cable, not preffered :(

When will the 1.0.0.8 Web Update firmware be released?

Hi Jessej

From older version to V1.0.0.8 need PC update way first as this kernel is 3.14 need to reformat the eMMC.web update can not do this.
next web update will need to use V1.0.0.8 first.

So please use PC update way update your MOIPro to V1.0.0.8. :)

Thanks

Kind Regards

How to update under Windows 10?
I have no driver for the USB device, it's only visible as "Ethernet Gadget" without driver, Update Tool will not recognize the Moi Pro.
Where to get its driver?
