I have installed an additional hard drive via SATA.

Now I get indications that space is full of tvheadhend's heading. I therefore try to expand it by running the swab on the hard drive. so I made this:

fdisk -l / dev / sda
mkswap / dev / sda1
swapon / dev / sda1

But it does not help, anyone? :?:

Hi johnnysamu.

If you make a swap partition, that is for swap (like ram, but on a hd), that's not for storage.
You need for example a fat or ext or ntfs partition to storage.

Kind regards.

On tvheadend configuration, option Recording you can asign a recording path.
So, try mounting a formated hd and use this mount point as path to recording on tvheadend.
On MOI (I havent got MOI Pro) an usb pendrive is automounted on /mnt/usb, whell, this will be the path on tvheadend configuration.

Hope its util for you.

Kind regards.

Hey! I still struggle with the space, I have a hard drive connected, and a USB memory. But I do not know how to do to assign Moi Pro this in a good way. Someone who has a good idea?

TVHeadEnd is set to put the recordings on a hard disk on the network. so it's not a problem.
