TBS6905 / Tvheadend - only 1 tuner works at a time(solved)

Postby hatster » Sat Aug 15, 2015 6:05 pm

Hi Guys,

I gave up with the 6904 for now and bought a 6905. Fresh install of Ubuntu v12.04.5 LTS. Latest TBS drivers loaded, and tvheadend 3.4.27.

All 4 tuners work in as far as I can scan the satellite (28.2e) and they all pick out the channels.

The problem is when I try to watch 2 different channels from 2 different muxes (ie 2 different tuners). The following shows in the tvheadend log:
--------------
HTTP: 10.1.61.117: using ticket 3FE658CDDAF271A970B60D00FBA2EB5AAEC7C840 for /stream/channelid/2
Aug 15 09:44:27.844 Service: Subscription "HTTP": Skipping "TurboSight TBS 6905 - 01/ASTRA: 11,954,000 kHz Horizontal (Default (Port 0, Universal LNB))/QVC" -- not enabled
Aug 15 09:44:27.844 subscription: No transponder available for subscription "HTTP" to channel "QVC"
Aug 15 09:44:27.844 webui: Couldn't start streaming /stream/channelid/2?ticket=3FE658CDDAF271A970B60D00FBA2EB5AAEC7C840, No service enabled
Aug 15 09:44:27.844 subscription: "HTTP" unsubscribing from "QVC"
--------------

obviously I have checked and all 4 tuners are showing as enabled. I have unticked: skip initial scan / idle scanning / monitor signal quality

Can anyone help ?

TBS - I can provide a login via PM if you want to have a look ?

HI all,
I have been trying to tune multistream channel with tbs 6905 but i am not able to tune.
my conf file to tune e.g dd india on intelsat 20 H has following values.
freq=3790
pol=h
srate=7200
lnb_lof_low=5150
lnb_lof_high=5150
lnb_slof=5150
cam_support=3
card=1
#Ip adress
ip=192.168.2.119
port=1011
#Name of the channel
name=ddindia
#The PIDs
pids=5377 5378

Is there anything wrong with the parameters and values in this file?
