I just bought a TBS6205 I travel to the other end of the world to Colombia, I install it and I get the surprise that it does not work with several frequencies 3 of 7 of the DVB-T2 system of my country, with Linux Ubuntu 18.04 system, I think it is a problem of drivers because I installed it on windows 7 and it works fine ... I need help to make the linux work, or can you tell me which version of linux works better and its drivers .. Thanks

Linux Ubuntu server 16.04 or 18.04 x64
linux driver tbs internet
try with tvheadend not found -- only 3 of 6 frecuence found
try with Astra not found -- only 3 of 6 frecuence found

Windows 7 x64
VLC Players - Found good All frecuence

There is a problem with the Linux driver, because in Windows it works fine.
does not show signal on several frequencies and does not lower the channels

I really do not understand why they do not collaborate with their customers, their products are one of the most expensive in the market, I am a user of 4 TBS-6985 for more than 4 years where, I had never asked questions in the forum ..
The problem I have is very clear that it is the Linux drivers and I have no solution, I have an ISP company in my city and we are passing the DVB-T2 channels to IP and 27 channels we only have 6 and we are stuck, we need help from of you and we see that you don't give them to us.

Hi
Could you try add a LNA to boost the signal?

Best Regards

HI
Sorry for delay reply.
Whether tuner 0 and tuner 3 can not locked any frequencies ? or just can not lock two frequencies?
Could you try add a LNA to enhance the signal?

BTW. You can write the email to me (Davin@tbsdtv.com)

Best Regards

The proble is solved.
conclusion: if you can not get the channel with the TVH or Astro, you can test it with the dvblast firstly. if the dvblast can be locked, you can make sure that is the setting problem. in some version TVH or Astro, search the DVBT2 signal must set the plp id parameter to 0,if the signal has not the plp.

Best regards
