I have just bought a 6904 from a UK reseller and I find the Windows 10 PC will not even POST with it installed.
My 6985 works in that motherboard (ASROCK FM2A88X PRO+) - In the same PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot.

They are telling me that they test the card OK and can only offer me a refund.

Does this mean I can no longer use a TBS card with this motherboard?

Have You tried to update BIOS? Looks like current version for Your motherboard is 3.40. Sometimes BIOS updates can improve compability with current hardware (but of course You have to be very careful when updating BIOS - You are doing this on Your own responsibility).
