added 2 6902 cards and 6981 card died

Hi.
I bought two 6902 cards to expand the tunercount in the tvserver.
I had a 6981 working prior to installing the new cards.
After installing the opensourcedrivers the 6981 tuners dissapeared but the 6902 do work fine.
I followed the installationguide here: viewtopic.php?f=86&t=9960
Is there a way for these guys to all play together? I assume the compilation of all the drivers when installing the new cards overwrite working drivers for the 6981 card with broken ones(?)
my Linux knowledge is limited and i have been plowing these forums and the rest of the internet for 2 Days without success.
