I had a TBS6981 card fail on me, and replaced with a TBS6902 card instead

I am running Windows 8.1 Pro x64, and when I tried to install the drivers Windows reports that the device is not supported on the platform.

I have tried using latest drivers 10.0.5, 1.0.0.3 and 1.0.0.2 too. All give the same result, installing in safe mode has no effect either.

I would appreciate any help, I thought that this card was compatible with Windows 8.1????

is it the drivers signature problem?

I have given up and will be returning to Amazon for a refund.

I have now bought a 2nd hard TBS6982 card and it works fine with W7 drivers

6902 win x64 driver signed only for Win10 WHQL.
need vendor-signed driver for Win vista + (6.0+)
