Cannot lock channels on specific MUX

Postby eugeno » Fri Jan 20, 2023 6:32 pm

Hi

I've been using my TBS6281SE for over a year, but several days ago all channels from one MUX stopped working. No updates have been installed recently, I didn't even restart the server (the card is plugged into HP Microserver Gen10 Plus). This MUX is working well from the same cable on my TV, so it is not related to the signal.

Tvheadend just cannot scan this MUX, no services can be found. The same with w_scan_cpp. I've tried to lock the frequency with dvblast and here is the result:

Code: Select All Code
$ dvblast -f 650000000 -b 8 -a 0 -5 dvbt2 -vvv
DVBlast 3.4 (release)

And it hangs at this forever. Quite strange.

Can it be a hardware issue? The warranty has not expired yet, but I'd like to make sure first that it is not related to the setup. Unfortunately, I don't have another device with PCIe slot to test the card.

The issue has been resolved. The card is working, it was the antenna that caused low signal on a mux. My TV was receiving the signal because it has probably more sensitive adapter. I reported this to the home management and they fixed the antenna. Thank you zhangchao for your help!
