TBS2603 streaming to Twitch?

TBS2603 streaming to Twitch?

Postby Mike » Sat Oct 06, 2018 1:19 pm

I bought a TBS2603 and want to stream to Twitch but cant get it to work.
Ive tried the same way as stated here in the forum for Youtube and Facebook viewtopic.php?f=187&t=24785
Is it possible and if yes how?
If not then i bought the wrong encoder :(

Hello Mike

In short time we will have the full tutorial on how to stream to social media with tbs2603 encoder.
We are looking into the possibility to integrate into the firmware the Youtube , Twitch or Facebook API's for an much more easier user experience.

I think the problem is that the port number is showing in status and Twitch probably wont like that.
Twitch want it as following: rtmp://live-ams.twitch.tv/app/{stream_key}
And the encoder shows in status: rtmp://live-ams.twitch.tv:1935/app/{stream_key}

Tried it didnt work for me :(
I think there should not be "live2" at "rtmp app name" for Twitch but removing it didnt make any difference is just not working for me.
Youtube also didnt work :(
Ive tried the HDMI2 and there i cant even fill in the live.twitch.tv it says not a correct ip number?
I can stream internally rtsp to VLC that works.
Streaming with software OBS or Streamlabs to Youtube or Twitch works.
Dont know what to do, or i received a defective encoder or iam doing something wrong?

Can you check please if your 1935 port properly set in your router to point / redirect to the encoder local LAN ip and match also the encoder port.
This looks to me a external network issue , aka something is blocking your connection between encoder and remote twitch / youtube server.

already thought of that myself and opend port 1935 UDP/TCP in the router for the encoder ip.
Even set the encoder ip in DMZ mode so no restrictions from the router.
Didnt work.

Is there a way to see the rtmp stream on the internal network ive tried that to vlc but didnt work (it works with rtsp to vlc)?
Then i at least know that the stream works and it really must be somewhere in the router for sure aldo i dont know what to change there more then already done.

Mike can you reach us on Skype?
My id is ovidiussp

Also you can try to downgrade the firmware with this one
https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code ... pFqR3FhCxV

If you go to status on encoder UI it will show you the link rtmp.

Got the encoder working on youtube/twitch (1280x720, 4000K bitrate and 60 framerate).
I uploaded old firmware 1.1.12 you gave, said ok in de popup.
Put all my settings in again.
When i look at version number it still says 1.1.87 (also did reset, reboot and power off)?
Iam now live streaming to twitch streaming and press hdmi-status it says: Access address: rtmp://live
It sometimes shows it right then not its weird.

with testing twitch-inspector i doesnt give a framerate and bitrate both stay at zero (that is with the ?bandwidthtest=true after the key)
same at youtube that doesnt know what to make of the bitrate.

encoder hardware status says: Missing interrupt number:02
dunno if thats ok?

would it be possible to stream to both at the same time youtube and twitch as hdmi2 still doesnt take a url as i said in msg before?

I could install skype ive removed it months ago as averyone i know is on discord works way better :)

And i wanna thank you for your time and help so patient with me :))
