Hello, have anybody faced with the issue that it's not possible to open any port for the encoder anymore. It used to work for more then a year and one day I noticed that I can't stream from out side my LAN. I checked port and see that 8080 is closed and I am not able to get access to it from outside anymore. I tried changing to any port but with no success. I am able to stream in LAN bot no more from outside. I changed router but new one can't open anyway. My ISP says that he is not blocking any ports. I thought that ISP can block smth but i tried to use ports like 8000 or 5000 that i can see open for cameras but when I change it to encoder port it shows closed. I tried several times to downgrade and reset firmware but didn't help. Any idea?

Maybe you can change a ISP provider and test again, you have any friend who's using a different SIP from you?
This is not realted to Encoder i think, before it's working, now can't. But Encoder is same one, nothing changes. The difference is Router, ISP changed.

We met several feeback same as you, but the last is the problem of ISP or Router.

Hi, unfortunately it didn’t work. I have tried with two different ISP and with different routers. I had no problem to open ports for access to my NAS but not for encoder. There is really smth wrong with encoder’s port management. Can it be that wan port is different from lan? Any ideas to check? Thanks!

I don't think so. Encoder port is same. Check mine, i open an Encoder:
http://113.116.51.168:6908 root/root
My wan ip is not a fixed, maybe each 1-2 days will change. Please check ASAP.


Please preare a remote check, let me check your "port forwarding" setting.

Hi, i checked your link and no problem to access. Just the question about external port 6908. I see that it's your external port routed for web access to encoder. How do you know this external port? Actually I tried to use it also, but no success. My external ip is http://78.62.61.71 but none of the ports forwarded to encoder working

Hi,
For Router "Port_forwarding", you should define an external port yourself manually, maybe "must define" will be better here， range "0---65535" , and be careful the port you're going to set can't be taken.
you must define yourself. Not Router or any guy can help you to set it.
Here, external set to "6908", so port "6908" is directing to "80". clear? If port forwarding didn't work, how you can access to my Encoder?
My Encoder is in local, local enviroment, IP=192.168.8.169, cause i do "port_forwarding.

I think you didn't understand how to do Router "port forwarding" at all, please google more about Router port_forwarding explaination.
