RTMP does not stream again, after removing and putting video

Hello

I have TBS2306. I use it in combination with the nginx server (linux)
and rtmp. It generally works very well. Even when the 2603 is connected to a mobile 4G router and the nginx server to a fixed fiber.

The problem that happens to me. It is when I am transmitting and I need a camera switch, the 2603 stops transmitting. And when I go back to connect the camera and I have a video signal again. The rtmp transmission is not automatically resettable. I have to enter the configuration menu and disable the rtmp transmission and re-enable it.

I have tried several codecs. And it only happens to me with the 2603. In other codecs, a "letter of adjustment" or "video loss" appears and after connecting the camera it transmits again. But the 2603 does not.

This is a nuisance. Because the camera operator is not always the same. He does not know the procedure nor does he have the PC to do it.

Is there any way to fix it?

thanks.

Sorry for my English. I use google translate.

Hi. My TBS2603SE, which arrived yeserday, won't load the upgrade I am on Windows. It allows me to select the file but on return from file selection nothing happens - am I missing something?. Also does the latest firmware include the NDI features, as I thought I was getting he TB2603SE with NDI and I am talking to my reseller about that?

Hi,
Sorry?
May i know what's wrong with your tbs2603SE now? please be careful to upgrade the fimware for your Encoder. For our Encoder, each Encoder will have its private firmware, theyr'e paired. Different Encoder can't share the fimware each other. If upgrade a wrong fimrware, Encoder have a risk to become a "brick".
For tbs2603SE we didn't release any new firmware, as the feedback from different customers, it's already stable and working well.

For tbs2603se-NDI, we can say it's another product. It has NDI ID protection and hardware, software bind together. Can not upgrade the firmware to support it.

Thanks

Thanks for the info - I have got it working but it is very laggy - I seem not to be able to get below 2 seconds into OBS which I cannot live with really 300ms might be OK. My setup is: 1080p, 25Fps (Feed is 50Fps) 100000bps and I am using the UDP stream to remove Http header overhead. Otherwise all defaults. Is there anything I can do?

Hi,
For low latency, maybe you can have a try with the following Media player. Some Media player will have a large buffer, so the the lantecy also increase:
http://www.tbsdtv.com/tmp/easyplayer_v3.zip
(Encoder side, please set to RTSP, this protocol will help you to get low lantency).
for the testing:
You can install a "clock" app in Android setbox, or a PC---then HDMI out to a Splitter----one to Encoder, and one to a Monitor-----compare the clock in Monitor and in "easyplayer", then you can calculate the latency.

And it's to outside (Internet) now? or local? if it's to Interent have to conside the Interent speed.

And Encoder support RTMP/RTMPS push directly, if you need RTMP/RTMPS push, you can configure in Encoder side directly.

Thanks

Hi all.

First. I want to clarify. I have TBS2603. I don't have the TB2603se.

I have tested with firmware 1.1.12 and 1.1.96. I have removed the HDMI signal from the TBS2603's video input. And after doing so, the RTMP streaming signal did not return.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57J8LI1KMz0 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YWPOpHSfs4 .

TBS has given us firmware 1.1.96_ver.2. We have uploaded it to TBS2603. And it has improved a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3A4bqm3c2c .

But when we repeat the operation. It is somewhat unstable and a little slow.

But we are very grateful for the effort made by TBS.

Regards.

TBS2603. can with NDI?
