HOW TO SCAN A SATELLITE IN DVB-S MODE

Hi, good day everyone..

I just starting using TBS5520SE

I was unable to scan any satellite in DVB-S mode but it working perfectly in Terrestrial mode, for your info I have connect my card to the satellite dish without diseqc switch but there is no signal available..

please help!!

hi

which driver and software you are using ? and which satellite and transponder you want to receiving ? can you take one picture about your application scan setting ?

Hi Steven,

Actullay I'm a newbie and don't know where to begin the scanning on my debian 9 (strecth).

Hope can help me how to start from the beginning,, ;) ;)

NOTE; I just can watch TV programe (DVB-T2) via VLC Player by selecting the option Open Capture Device, from the drop down menu and choose Digital TV and input the frequency in my region.

Hi

You can have a try with tvheadend enable the DVB-S mode and scan the channels then using VLC play the net stream
for tvheadend guide please check the user guide :
