I'm using TBS 5520SE tuners from TBS.

I have one problem with it... from time to time, due to sat recieving problems my signal from DVBDream disappears. After that I need to turn off DVBDream, change mode to DVBS (I'm using DVBS2 mode), although it runs DVBS. After choosing DVBS in Change Mode Tool, restarting DVBDream, everything works fine again, my signal from tuner reaches my PC.

I don't have problem with that the signal disappears, becouse... it happens, but my question is... is there any chance to switch modes or restart tuner with a cmd script? Change mode tool needs to be lounched, requires some clicking, and I would love to use it with a script. Is there a way to do that?

I'm using TBS with Widows 7.

sorry , there is not script support it.
i have look at your describe , when your signal disappears ,you use the tool reset to dvb-s/s2 mode, right? if you want to restart the box, just need unplug and plug the usb port.

Is it possible to see C++ code of TBS5520se_ChangeMode_Tool to implement it in i.e. app SmartDVB to change modes staying in app (without necessary close/run app) SmartDVB?

Oh... anything? There is no option to restart it without ChangeModeTool? I know that I can just unplug it from usb port, but what if I'm not next to the PC, but few kilometers away?

App SmartDVB can switch (even automatically) modes inside so now not necessary to close app, use ChangeMode_Tool, start app when switch between i.e. DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 channels - need just wait about 10 seconds but that's great.
