Hi,

1) FAN noise
I see that there is a FAN on this board.
Is it noisy ? Can you hear it at all ?

2) Output signal
It was nice on the 6205 to have an output signal to chain the cards...
Why didn't you add it here ? And why did you use this kind of connector instead of the F one ?

Thanks for your interest of our product and for your question :

1. normally is ok ,if in a quite place you can hear .
2. As they are using different tuner and demo so for 6209 we have not add the loopout signal

another one, could you please confirm if the external power is mandatory ?
I tested the card without it, and it looks like some tuners are stuck in the IOCTLs...

Ok I found the issue, it was not due to the power supply.
The card does not like if we open all tuners at the same time, FW loading of all tuners must be done in sequence.

What about your temprature enviroment if it is not hot then you can remove the FAN power .make sure the cooling from the server is well

Is it possible to change for another cooling solution? Some different fan or something? I don’t need it to look pretty. Just be quite =)
