TBS 6209 and minisatip 0.7.16 issues

Hi,

Maybe it's not the right board to talk about my problem but I can't find a way to join @catalinii, the developer's project called minisatip.

I own a TBS 6209 DVB-T2/T/C and TBS 6909 DVB-S2/S tuners. Both of them are connected to two different PC working with Ubuntu 18.04.1. I use the latest open source drivers compiled with kernel 4.15.0.38. I build a minisatip server on every computer. Here is the parameters to start the server:

sudo ./minisatip -x [port_number]
sudo ./minisatip -f

Until this, all is working fine. I can access the web interface. It displays all detected adapters. However, when I want to watch TV with VLC as a client, sometimes there is no issues but from time to time, the playback shows artefacts and stutters. Monitoring via the web interface indicates that packets are buffered or dropped from the server side though the reception of the signal is perfect, there are no errors. I hope that @catalinii, @crazycat or someone encountering the same problem could help me to find a solution.

maybe signal issues ? what signal source (terrestrial or cable) ?

Thanks for your answer.

The signal source is terrestrial for the TBS 6209 tuner. I don't think that is related to a weak signal because my TBS 6909 tuner for satellite reception has the same problem. My dish is oriented to Astra 28°2E and the signal is excellent.
