I posted this question in another thread but I think it might get lost and unanswered so have started a new thread:

I'm thinking about getting a TBS6209 for Windows but I noticed this comment in another thread which sounds unusual:

1. What is meant by "done in sequence"? Does it only let me open tuners in sequence? Can I not use Tuner0 and Tuner7 independently without using other tuners in between?

2. What happens about opening all tuners at the same time? I can use all tuners in two quad cards, can I not use all tuners in octa card without any issues?

When you first open the PC if you using more than 1 x6209 such as 4x6209 , after system running up please wait about 1 minutes then start using the tuners
as every card need some time to init ,after init you can use all at the same time as you want

@steven - Thank you. No, hopefully I only need 1 x6209. Good to hear I can use all tuners.

Does it mean I can use any tuner and tuners do not need to be used in sequence?
For example if I use T0-T3 for SD and T4-T7 for HD I am able to use, for example T1 and T7 in my software and it will be fine?
I don't need to use tuners in sequence - T0 and T1?
