I am running Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit, and I have found same issue as users reported with their Windows OS.

I am running TVheadend server on the machine, and experiencing issue of no signal detected.

I have tried two machines one Dell Dimension 9200, and other self build Intel motherboard DQ35JO. Both of them suffer same issue with suspend/resume (S3) and no signal issue.

I have had a long running problem with this card. About 1-2 times out of 10 it does not initialise correctly and I get excessive error rates, usually unusable. This is of course a disaster for scheduled recordings. I use DVBViewer.
I have tried all the supposed cures I could find on this and other forums, but none seemed to make much difference.
Finally in desperation I have purchased a TBS6982 replacement card, and (touch wood) so far after about 20 recordings it is good. I have made no other changes (other than the driver of course) so I think we can make a reasonable conclusion for the source of my previous problems.
