we have bought this motherboard and have test 5921 and 6981,it is ok, but you should update the latest BIOS.

We've been trying to get the 6981 working with an AT5IONT motherboard but the machine shuts off as soon as we try to scan. We definitely have the latest BIOS but we are using an Antec ISK 300 65 case which only has 65W of power. We've also tried with a 90W power brick with the same result. I'd love to know if it's just because the PSU is too weak. I have seen in other threads that it is estimated that the TBS6981 uses about 25W of power, so we should actually have plenty to spare with the 90W brick. Perhaps it requires more power when scanning?

It is possible to get a 150W picoPSU, but I really don't know if the atom processor is good enough to handle using this either, so I'm reluctant to take the risk.

Any info on working configurations with this Motherboard would be greatly appreciated.

could you PLEASE give out a little more information on the conditions of your tests? specifically, what kind of power supply was used?
i experience the exact same issue as goibhniu with the TBS 6922, an AT5IONT-I and the Antec ISK 300-65.

in this thread the user AlunS reports that a 150W picopsu did the trick for him. it seems 65 or 90W psus are insufficient for power intensive tasks such as scanning.
