TBS6981 card causes system freeze at boot up

Thank you steven , i tried with europe suport in spanish but they only replayed me that
was a hardware incompatibility and i need to change the card , i will try with the english

I had the same issue and upgrading the BIOS worked for me.

Motherboard: Asus P78B75-M
PSU: 520 W
Tuner card: TBS6981

Before I upgraded the BIOS the computer did not pass POST (no picture on screen, not even BIOS) when the TBS6981 was connected in the PCIe x1 or x16 slot. When I upgraded the BIOS from version 0812 to version 1401 (latest available at this date) the system boots and the card works like a charm.
