Hi,

I have recently upgraded my installation of mediaportal2. Since the new installation I can no longer use the TBS6981 card which was functioning OK before the software update. Upon further investigation I have found that it is not shown in device manager. My motherboard is an ASUS A88XM-PLUS and I cannot find any settings in the bios (Updated to the latest version) for the PCI-e port.
I'm struggling to believe that any hardware has failed or needs changing, but there are no 'Other Devices' in device manager and no Tuner card listed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

any ideas? The card sometimes comes up after a cmos reset, but not every time.

Your motherboard has PCI Express 3.0, it is very likely to be a compatibility problem.
Try using your card on an old PC.
