Hi,

I have a TBS6209 running on Ubuntu Server 18.04LTS and Cesbo Astra for ISDB-T channels.
If I send UDP to my transcoder/ streamer in a origin -> edge configuration the HLS result is just fine, but getting multicast straight from TBS6202 to my audience ends in freezing images with noticable package loss.

Please, help me to understand what can be wrong.

Hi Sir

If the stream to your transcoder server output is good , mean the card works well , if direct multicast output have issue then please check your network enviroment as
HLS is the unicast output

For your astra you can try with http output if it is ok then your network maybe do not support multicast well
