m3u8 compatibility

Before I make a purchase, can anybody tell me if the m3u8 stream from the TBS2603se is playable with something like this...

It's a very simple JSFiddle that uses videojs and videojs-contrib-hls to play a m3u8 stream in a browser (if you would like to test it, simply change the url on line 2 to your m3u8 url).
My requirement would be to play the encoded HDMI stream in a range of browsers, and surprisingly, this seems to be much trickier than it should be.
