still, it should produce some output - added to my list of issues about the new DVB-S2 demodulator inside 6921/8921/5921 (Q-box III) that i need to check, investigate, etc.

BTW, a little off-the-topic, but still related, because that work should lead to improvement of all 6921/8921/5921 drivers, Derrick i'm going to post debug driver for the "frequency problem" you reported with your 8921 card in the thread here:

https://shop.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=211&start=10

i'm guessing some of the more 6921/5921 users that are interested in more advanced things than just watching DTH in their Windows Media Center could also be interested to follow the thread.

For transponders and channels that are hot 24/7, it's not a problem as most programs have up to date TP lists.
However, the blind scan is pretty much a requirement when searching for back hauls and wild feeds on the NA sats.

I loaded up the new driver 1.0.0.4 for my 8921 and now I get about 3/4 through the progress bar during a BS and the program crashes :o Rolling back to the previous 1.0.0.3 driver results in the BS tool no longer recognizing the 8921 card ....so, remove everything and start from scratch...sigh :x

at least in my opinion it has to be something else, but anyway there is no problem to add command line inputs to the module. i'm close to finishing my on-going project and thus have more time to improve 6921/8921 software bugs, but in any case i will try to find some time and build such module for you in the next several days.

Is anyone looking at this problem - its now 2 & 1/2 months and I haven't heard a word from anyone at TBS? - despite Cody's statement above to build a module within a few days!
