Still two things which need improvements

Still two things which need improvements

Postby lujo » Fri May 13, 2011 10:06 pm

After standby issues there are still two things which need a fix.

- Diseqc 1.2 which is not reliably working.
- Faster change to HD channels. At this moment (see my previously posts) 5 seconds is needed to lock to HD channels. I am using TVSource and TVSource is sending signal that it is HD channel so driver should understand that, but it don't.

I hope those issues will be fixed soon.

That is the reason that I want to ask: Does TBS team recognise this as issue which need to be fixed and can we expect that this will be fixed within the short term?

AND ALSO

for Windows 7 64 bit (at least)

- 22khz switching doesn't work
- TSReaderSources - causes registry corruption and fails to "Retune to mux carrying this service" (when selected from from SDT table entry)
- TSReaderSources - does not accept parameters/options passed to it by TSReader
- The TPS IP tool fails on startup with "CBDAGraph::ConnectPins() - Could not connect pins together. Error was:"

Is TBS working on those issues and how long will it take to solve this?

Can I conclude that nobody is trying to solve those issues? Please respond, because if this is true I am going to try card from another brand.

More and more sporadic reaction of engineers (actually only one) weakens confidence on their willingness to work... :( Steven, please respond!

Would mind tell me which soft you are use?

about this luchy had explained why.

Standby Resume OK with Driver 2.0.0.7

Postby A1880 » Mon Jun 27, 2011 4:58 am

Just to confirm:

My TBS 6921 properly resumes work after Standby with Win7 driver 2.0.0.7
(working on Windows XP SP3 and TBS Viewer).

With driver 2.0.0.2 I still had the Standby problem.

Greetings
