„device cannot be started (Code 10)" each time I boot my PC

Postby roman03 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 10:47 pm

I bought the TBS6921-Card and I use it within following environment:
- Windows 7, 64 Bit
- ASROCK X58 Extreme3 Mainboard

Each time I boot up my PC the TBS-card cannot be started („device cannot be started, Code 10").
I can solve the problem by deactivating the device followed by activating it again.
After this the card works fine until I switch off my PC.

What I already have tried to solve the problem:
- I installed the newest device driver for the TBS-card, which is 2.0.1.1 (see screenshots)
- I reinstalled the device driver several times
- I installed the latest BIOS-Version and windows driver for the ASROCK mainboard
- I tried out different PCI-Express slots

Any ideas what could be wrong, or is my card defect and I should replace it within warranty?

Thank you
Roman

Meanwhile I got the answer below from TBS-Support.
Attached you can find the test-driver.
The good news is, that the problem seems to be solved with it :-)

>HI,
>Please try the test driver for your TBS6921.
>You just need to copy the TBS6921.sys to /windows/system32/drivers to replace the old one,and restart your PC.
>If still has same problem,we will do the RMA for you.
>Thanks!
