TBS6904SE uses Montage LZ M88RS6060 tuning chips.

Thanks to CrazyCat, TBS6904SE now supports ultra-high-speed blind scan on Windows operating system (with driver version 1.0.0.2 and above).

TBS6904SE currently does NOT support single-frequency blind scan (BLScan/blindscan 1). This means you cannot do a blind scan if you know a single carrier frequency but do not know its symbol rate.

However, TBS6904SE does support blind scan (or carrier search) within a given frequency range (BLScan2/blindscan 2). It only takes about 20 seconds to complete the search for a single polarization to lists all carrier frequencies with their respective symbol rates. A frequency range of 500 MHz is assumed for a single polarization (e.g., 12250-12750 MHz Horizontal).

Hence, when you use any software application developed based on the StreamReader library (written by CrazyCat), the BLScan2 function will be available, and you will be able to do blind scan with these upper-level software applications.

I and other users would like to solemnly and sincerely acknowledge the efforts and contributions that CrazyCat has been made for the DTV user community. CrazyCat has played significant and indispensable roles in the development of our DTV user community, and deserves our utmost respect, encouragement and support.
