Hi, i´ve recently purchased the TBS 5930 usb tuner, and it doesn´t work properly with the latest driver (1.0.0.4).
The higher frequencies don´t appear, blindscan not working, ebspro and crazycan neither...

Please solve these bugs or i´ll have to return it.

Does anybody knows how that ended?
Driver is still 1.0.0.4.
There was a known issue with I2C calls, well described here: https://sourceforge.net/p/crazyscan/dis ... de420eb5d/
Crashes are still reported, eg. http://ebspro.net/blog/ebspro-v18-0-0-1 ... 5849130346

Is there any beta driver, which fixes that?

@steven - any chances for new drivers release for 5930 with fix for freeze when loading in StreamReaderEx-BDA (CrazyScan)?

Crash (freeze) with CrazyScan confirmed here on drivers v1.0.0.4 and v1.0.0.3.
On v1.0.0.2 card is not freezed on the start of CrazyScan, but does not work - RFScan is flat, BlindScan finds nothing.

Card itself looks interesting, even got some partial signal from ACM/VCM freqs, so there's a chance that card would be able to detect them.
Lock is pretty fast, scanning - reliable, stability of reception - decent (no dropouts/missing packets for a longer period of monitoring). Not heating too much.

If blindscan would work reliable too, then who knows, maybe it would be a gap filler between 5927 without DVB-S2X and 5520SE, which is unable to receive some transmissions?
Unfortunately missing blindscan is a dealbreaker right now.

PS
@crazycat - checked also your debug drivers in test mode - issue also present there + high count of missing packets (just to confirm).

Bump :)
Description: https://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs5930 ... -card.html says it's blindscan capable, HW surely is, because it's based on M88RS6060, like 6902SE. But because of faulty drivers there's no software which can do blindscan right now on 5930. A small drivers fix for 5930 to resolve this would be appreciated ;)

I meant rather TBS ;) You did already more than anybody else ever, with great CrazyScan and StreamReaderEx-BDA :) Thanks to you the whole DVB cards world is today in a totally different place. I really doubt that we would watch PLS or MIS so easily or we would have so powerfull blindscan without your contributions. Pretty much a glorious thing!
Additionally I don't want to bother you too much, there's a lot of bad things going on in Ukraine right now... Hope that you are safe.
But... I can probably provide you 5930 if you would like to put your hands on it ;) Please let me know if I should get one for you. Without any expectations to fix anything - just if you would like to play a bit with this one ;)

5930 is nice device IMHO with chances to be a decent HW... if TBS will fix the drivers

@steven, where are you? Please fix the drivers for 5930 ;)
