Are you sure you don't mean VCM? Because ACM in this case (transportation of digital terrestrial multiplex) wouldn't make much sense.
I'm asking also because in the Base Band Header VCM is signaled as ACM:
"
CCM/ACM field (1 bit): Constant Coding and Modulation or Adaptive Coding and Modulation (VCM is signalled as ACM)." (copy&paste from ETSI EN 302 307 1.1.2, page 17)
The constellation was in the link posted by Enosat in the last post of the first page:
http://ipbox.wz.cz/mediaset.htm
i'm not looking at Base Band Header, but what ST-based NIM is reporting in its status registers, but i need to check again, because maybe i mismatched which bit is set in the status registers and it's VCM and not ACM. so, i will double check and let you know.
DeEmEx wrote:Cody, so from analyze what you did, can you confirm that these mediaset are 8PSK? (but as '8PSK+8PSK' two 8PSK transponders in one [not same as 16APSK]).
yes, that is confirmed now without any doubt, because now i can get two different channel lists from every Mediaset frequency, which is showing in practice that indeed there are 2 active streams and they are actually using Multiple Input Stream feature. i guess that answers VictorLS question too.
thank you for the constellation diagrams. when i have something new i will post the information here.
