The TBS Service said: to me:
"If still have huge lost packets, please try to receive other normal DVBS2 TV channels,
If still have huge lost packets, the card should be faulty ."

And exactly this I want to try and choose the TV channel on Eutelsat 10A "Nepali":

First of all: I have the correct driver 1.0.1.23 and the IP tool is 3.0.4.0 .

TBS-6925 card
Is the problem with TBS-IPdata?
I registered in TBS-IPdata:

1) Tuner Settings
Transponder: 11221.V.30000
Frequancy: 11221 MHz
Polarity: Vertical
Selected Mode Code: QPSK_5/6

2) IP Over DVB
I deleted all the PIDs of setting Tellicast.
I checked "Show alls active PIDs" and there was a lot of PIDs, MACs and
Type = DATA shown. -- O.K.

ProgTV on WINDOWS 7l
My installed ProgDVB, "Search ... [10.0 ° E Eutelsat 10A]
seeks and finds nothing. ProgDVB is indeed complicated, more complicated
than the SatSignal receiving. Nevertheless, I beg for assistance with the
reception of NEPALI to show me at least the critical points during the installation.

Settings -> 2 TV Sources ->
TV Quellen (Erweitert) [TV sources (extended)] shows:

(BDA) TBS 6925 DVBS/S" Tuner
-- LNB: KU Band Universal
-- -- 10.0° E :Eutelsat 10A

So ProDVB has at least recognized the card in my receiving PC. But now my
question: It will be shown: DVB Over IP, IPTV Client, ... What do I have to choose?
Surely not "Internet channels"?

Scanning... [10.0° E :Eutelsat 10A] gives no stations.

What can I do to receive the TV channel Nepali normal? It´s for testing the TBS-6925.

Thank you in advance and best regards,
Werner.

O.K. Done exactly.

ProgDVB started -> Settings -> 1 Stations -> Channel lists
Scanning... [10.0° E :Eutelsat 10A]
Half an hour was scanned, 189 stations.
Level = constant o.k.
Quality = constant NULL

No station found!

If IPTool been deleted, where is the satellite data input?

Cheers,
Werner.

Not sure what You trying to say. ProgDVB found 189 channels? If so - it must have signal to find them and should receive them when scanning was finished.

Be aware that at Eutelsat 10A there is not much TV channels - list: http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-10A.html (only from "wide" beam, channels from "africa" beam won't be available). Maybe You will be also able to receive channel from Eutelsat 9A as it is very close, but with weak signal: http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-9A.html

Important information: You can not watch TV and use EUMETcast at the same time. DVB card got only one tuner, so if You downloading EUMETcast data - it will be busy with that job.

If You want to watch TV, you must close IPData/BDADataEx and run only ProgDVB. If You want to use EUMETcast, You must close ProgDVB and stop to watch TV, run only one data app - IPData or BDADataEx, not both at the same time!
And now you're watching 8K:
KKKKKKKK

Thank you for your reply.

My problem is that I get a huge amount of missed and recovered data upon receipt of the DVB-S2 signals of EUTELSAT 10A
from EUMETSAT. The TBS service has recommended me instead of EUMETSAT signals to receive a normal TV channels
with DVB-S2 -- as sample. I wanted to select the channel Nepali TV.

I deleted TBSIPTools-3.0.4.0 and disabled all Tellicast. Only the driver V1.0.1.23 was and is active.
I installed ProgDVB for Nepali TV on 10E (11221,V,30000, QPSK_5/6)
After scanning stations for half an hour nothing appeared.
Many repetitions were unsuccessful. No station list.

Now I went back to setting Tellicast. I reactivated tcp-recv.
I have reinstalled tbs-iptool_v3.0.4.0-acm-vcm
I chose again:
Eurobird 9A with 11977,H,27500
TBS Data Services shows:
Only few seconds (about 4 sec) with normal behavior:
Strength: 80
Quality: 98
But than:
Strength: 81 some later 99
Quality: ZERO (!)

I mean that the card is faulty. The quality was zero, even with Eutelsat 10A.

As receiving PC for EUMETSAT I have the Shuttle XPC Barebone SH61R4 with Intel Core i5-3570 Processor and
16 GB RAM. So far the EUMETSAT receipt with Eurobird 9A (DVB-S) ran for some month flawlessly. Now this
heavy problem.

What should I do?

Cheers,
Werner.

PS: Would the TBS5925 DVB-S2 TV Tuner USB a better choice for receiving EUMETSAT data?

This is very likely. See the diagram:

http://www.guenzl.net/privates/Missed-Data.png

Even when receiving Eurobird 9A - so DVB-2 - appear too much missed and hardly
recovered data . Very striking is the reception of the Eutelsat 10A - so DVB-S2 --
data which gradually increase the missed and recovered data, indicating a thermal
problem.

Werner.

Hi, DVB,

what opinion do you have of this trouble. Is TBS doing to develop an improved version of the TBS-6925 card?
Or a better one?

And what about the drivers and IPTool?

Cheers,
Werner.
