Artefects and pixelation on HD channels

I bought my TBS 6925 about four years ago and now some channels would make pixels and artefects but some other work just fine.
I read a topic from 2012 about this and it seems that it's a tuner problem but we are in 2015 now so I was wondering if there was anything I could do like maybe an update or sth? Or is my card dying? I was thinking of maybe getting a 6982, what do you think?
