Hi,
We have an hotel IPTV system running for approx 5 years, based on 7 TBS boards (5x S2 + 2x DVB-T) on supermicro X9SRL mainboard , Linux debian 6 and dvblast, and amino set box in rooms.

Except the supermicro board just failed, black screen, dead.
We bought in emergency a new one, supposed to be identical, with new CPU and RAM, just in case.
We reuse existing linux software RAID1 dual drive, so it's exactly the same software installation than before.

System is working again, except only one board is seen from the Linux (lspci, lshw, dmesg etc.)
08:00.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160 (rev 02)

[ 3.509385] DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (TurboSight TBS 6984 DVBS/S2 frontend)...
[ 3.595929] DVB: registering adapter 1 frontend 0 (TurboSight TBS 6984 DVBS/S2 frontend)...
[ 3.684756] DVB: registering adapter 2 frontend 0 (TurboSight TBS 6984 DVBS/S2 frontend)...
[ 3.771620] DVB: registering adapter 3 frontend 0 (TurboSight TBS 6984 DVBS/S2 frontend)...

i spent the full night trying different changes in BIOS (like PCI express Gen1, 2 or 3), Interl virtualizations on/off, pci-express oprom on/off, but nothing, cant detect more thant one board..
I am working remotly (hotel is 800km away..) with SSH and supermicro console redirection

And I cant find.. which is very frustrating. It was working and it's not anymore with the same configuration.
BIOS is latest as well as IPMI

Does any one has an idea ?
I can recheck or try eveything you might thing of..

I added a pack of BIOS screenshots as it is right now, but I think I tried every combination..

thanks in advance,

Claude
