dvblast udp problem

dvblast udp problem

Postby aerayp » Tue Feb 21, 2012 6:38 pm

Hello,

I use tbs6984 board to get satellite streams and dvblast to send streams to multicast network. Unfortunately with UDP protocol I have packet loss. RTP is not useful for my system. How to solve this problem?

Thanks,
Eray

UDP protocol haven' t got flow control or error correction. If there are lossing packages maybe you have a poor signal conextion or low symbol rate. What about this?
Best regards.

dvblast -u -a 1 -f 10890000 -s 27500000 -v 13 -F 78 -m psk_8 -Y -U -d 239.0.0.1:1205

f- Frequency
s- symbol rate
-v LNB Voltage H=18 , V=13
-m modulation , qpsk , or psk_8 , QAM, etc.
-U mean udp with out -U will be RTP protocol (( this is your issue ))
-d the destination Multicast IP and port

What about your net work environment when you test the transponder one by one if everyone are ok then should be your network issue
make sure 1Gbps

all internal network already 1 Gbit also 2 LAN 1Gbit active. Every port on the Router using 1Gbit connection. All the cables cat6. Actually DVBlast is best multicast streamer IMO but because of this reason I should use unicast with mumudvb (doesnt work properly with m cards) and astra cesbo .( tvheadend is goo, too) but it is crashing very often
