TBS8922 Crashes Windows XP, SP3

Hi WRBreland.
I don't use windows, but reading your comments, It like you have problems with power supply. Remember V polarization require 13v and H polarization require 18v. To send 18V to lnb, TBS8922 (and all dvb cards) require some extra power.
Best regards

You've certainly gone the extra mile to try to resolve this 8922 problem. I would send a note to support@tbsdtv.com with a link to this thread and ask for an exchange. Even though the card is sort of working in Windows 8 it doesn't sound like its working like it should. I have the same card and have never had any of the problems you mentioned. I recently bought a new computer and am now using Windows 8 64 bit and the 8922 works fine with the 64 bit drivers, same as it did with Windows XP Pro SP3 and the 32 bit drivers.
FYI, CrazyCat's streamreaderExProxy.dll is a TSREADER source file that works with many cards so you are not locked to just TBS cards. HIs source works great with my Prof cards and TBS cards.

Glad you got the 7301 working, too bad on the 8922 though, since your thread I"ve been looking around here and elsewhere and it seems you are not the only 8922 owner having problems with installing it.
