AC Adapter Voltage

Postby mjahabarsadiq » Sun Oct 30, 2016 4:49 pm

Hi Team,

I got TBS 5922 SE today from another person. The box content is missing AC power adapter. I have TBS 5990 and it's original power adapter. TBS 5990 is marked as 12 V 2Amp. I don't think I can use it for 5922 SE. Also, 5922 SE is not having any voltage marked. Can you please confirm the desired power supply for that so that I can buy one from local stores and use it? Please reply ASAP since I am not able to use 5922 SE though I got it after a long wait.

You can use from 7.5v to 12v. Any 12v/2a from STB work ok.

Thanks @crazycat bro.. I used the same adapter that I used for 5990 which is of 12 V 2A and it is working fine!! Now all the packet loss issues in high bit rate got solved..

Hi friends,

I found the below item online which can convert USB 5V into 12 V. I am planning to use this to power my TBS 5922 SE so that I can avoid depending on AC voltage. Can you please confirm if I can use this item with TBS 5922 SE by looking at the specification of the item in the below link?
