Drivers is (111118) --> Compiling and setup ok
When i can with Mythtv it always stuck at 37%.
Whatever i do, even with reinstalling fresh install it is the same.

I get success in getting partial channels and watch them, but no way to full scan.

I tryed also to build a full channels.conf but now way. It is stuck in the same state:

scan -x0 -t1 -s1 /usr/share/dvb/dvb-s/Astra-19.2E | tee channels.conf


and

scan -a 1 /usr/share/dvb/dvb-s/Astra-19.2E > channels.conf


...

Now i can scan, but it s stuck on 37%.
I tryed several times on differents transponder and it is still the same.
I cant let it run for 10 jours it's still on the 37%.

I m using Mythtv and i can get to see some channels, but no way to get a full scan of transponders. (astra 19).

Can anyone help ?

I get the same problem (error), when I try to scan the symbol rate "27500" under the astra 19.2e

I think, there is a bug in the drivers, because the windows drivers can scan it and I can see the channels.

Yes for sure, there are lots of problems with the linux Drivers.
I can watch more channels under Win 7, so i think the driver is having some problems.
I bouth a product that i cant use the way i need, and the emails i sent to the company to get refund got no response.

I encountered exactly the same problems - it took me almost one day to realize that these problems aren't related to my satellite equipment.
Without your comments and without a windows environment I would have been lost because of the misleading information about a "works with linux".

I am really upset that a changed product still is sold as "linux compatible" if there are only beta drivers available

Don't buy this product if you want to use it without windows.

The kernel modules are not GPL - there is only binary stuff with some "debug output" spoiling the kernel log.

YES, that is unaxeptable.
We bought a product stamped WORKING ON LINUX, but it is false advertising.
THIS PRODUCT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORKING PROPERLY.

The worst it that the services doesnt answer the emails and it s is impossible to get refund.

I wrote a mail to [email protected] and got an answer at once

...and the support told me that this issue is related to broken hardware.

I can't send back the device (to get a replacement) at the moment (not at home for the next weeks) - so I can't check if the support is right.

But you should try again to send a mail to them - maybe your mail was lost?

Maybe you can get a fixed or new device.

I suggest you should send back the device for fix it or replacement.
We found the hardware issue could generated lots interrupt event in linux.And your device probably involved.
