Hello,
Driver installation for this card went just fine and the device show up too, but somehow it can't be detected by tvheadend nor any other programms. I'm running fedora20 see relevant dmesg snippet below.

I have the same issue, with both TVheadend and VDR using the 140425 drivers and Openelec CrazyCat 4.0.2 build. It has got to be something to do with how the drivers are presenting the TBS6982se to the backend as after tuning to a channel with szap the following produces a recording of the video stream to file.

I haven't tried LJalves drivers yet but I believe they fix the issue https://github.com/ljalves/linux_media. It would be nice if TBS could incorporate the bug fixes into their next release as providing linux drivers that don't work with the most popular linux backends is not very helpful!
