TBS 6220 not always initializing

I am using the TBS 6220 for almost 3 years now on DVB-C so I have installed the hybrid driver. Unfortunately sometimes the device is not showing up in the device manager so that I have to manually reboot. This was the case in Windows 7, 8.1 and now in 10. What could be the cause for this ?
