As an interim, can u guys release another signed version of the drivers with the title of the device renamed to "TBS 6280 Dual DVB-T2/T/C BDA Tuners" since this is combined driver supporting also DVB-C?

Please check for installation bugs too.

I think it will install back the uninstalled drivers when trying to install 1009 or 1010.

Example :
If you uninstalled dvb-t 1008 drivers before installing 1009 or 1010, it will install back 1008 when you install 1009 or 1010 with the setup exe.

If you uninstalled dvb-c 1004 drivers before installing 1009 or 1010, it will install back 1004 when you install 1009 or 1010 with the setup exe.

This is what I have noticed but I'm not 100% sure I 'm correct or not.
But that was why I couldn't get it to work in the first place until I updated the drivers with WIndows Device Manager instead of using the setup.exe.

Thank you.

Yes u got it correct.

In fact now I don't bother with the setup.exe already. What I do is to uninstall the device (and selecting the option to delete driver software), select "scan hardware changes" until the device indicates that there are no drivers for it. Once that happens, I will then install the new driver.

Opposed to those 1.0.0.9 drivers from the mainpage, the 1.0.1.0 do work for DVB-C and DVB-T. DVB-T(2) not tested.
Any reason, why these (working ones) are not on the mainpage?

The name, though confusing because of the missing "C", can be easily altered by renaming the device in the TBS6280.inf (to the end). But that's really just cosmetic. (Or through the registry, but if you want a correct name, I'ld recommend just changing the .inf file. Beware: any driver signature shall be lost by changing the driver files; it still works the same.)

Yes I already know to edit the file before making my request for the signed driver. I wish to use the signed driver so that I will know in case the files are modified by a virus and breaks the signature. Changing the inf file and destroying the signature is not what I wish to do as a user, it's meant to be done by the device driver manufacturers.

Abolutely, but it is really just a cosmetical change. Maybe that's why it's not yet on the main page. Anyway the driver seems to work well for me. And that's what really counts, I guess.

Yah, but some users have reported that making the DVB-C tuner behave as a DVB-T tuner skips certain frequencies that a proper DVB-C tuner uses.

I also asked the question in the NextPVR forums and the NextPVR programmer told me that the proper way should be to create 2 logical devices from the TV card. That is, a logical DVB-T/T2 device and a logical DVB-C device that appears in Device Manager.
