Different chipset/tuner used on them as compared to the 6280/6284?
Or something else?

When can we start to order them online? Thank you.

I suppose TBS6281 is the updated version of TBS6280, while TBS6285 is the updated version of TBS6284.
TBS6285 is a bad card and TBS is a bad service company.

The CEO of TBS had better contact me to understand what happened.

That seems very likely. But what has been updated -and when the cards will be available- is still unclear, hence this thread. (:
Though it seems a little strange, that the drivers for these cards were announced before the cards themself on this site (or are available through buydvb).

Will there also be a combined DVB-T2/T/C driver for these cards too?

Will they replace the current/old models or just complement the assortment? And yes, I'm asking because of a possible RMA. ^^
Oh, and: What was wrong with the Samsung NIM/Sony Tuner?

On a side note, when is the next discount period?

Are we going to have to wait for the Halloween discount, or is there an earlier promotion? :)

I am about to get a card for DVB-C and TBS 6220 seemed to be the right choice but now i am curious to know if the TBS 6281/6285 will be working in DVB-C mode as well and fully supported by Crazyscan/TSReader/DVB Viewer Pro/TSAnalyser and what they will offer more in comparison to TBS 6280/6284.

Good to know Steven. Thanks for that. Suppose my other questions will be answered as soon as the cards will be released, right ?
